In his 15 years of professional experience, Rohit Kumar has worked in the areas of brand management, distribution and placement, research, marketing strategies, alliances, CSR, new launches, MIB related jobs, events and promotions. From his enriching experience as Vice President - Marketing at Zee Media Corporation Limited and Aaj Tak, Mr Kumar has pioneered the evolution of novel concepts and transformational models.He was instrumental in revamping the brand image of Zee News by launching various campaigns such “Khabar Naye Rangon Mein” and “Soch Badlo Desh Badlo”. He has conceptualised and spearheaded the Zee “My Earth My Duty Campaign”, launched in 2010, as a nationwide plantation campaign. Under his stewardship, the Zee News campaign “Aapki Vote Aapki Takat”, which sought to take the importance of voting to the grassroots, caught the imagination of the masses in a big way. He has been recently felicitated by the President of India for “Art Recognises No Boundaries” campaign along with appreciation from UNODC for commitment to the cause of drug abuse prevention.
