CEC will present the festival under the aegis of its thematic centre, the “Green Films Centre”. The vibrant CEC-GFC Team, which will actualise this initiative, has more than a decade long experience in hosting film festivals. Theme 

“Swachh Bharat” Comes Alive

The umbrella theme of the inaugural festival will be “Swachh Bharat.” The theme will also bring into its fold the objectives of the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat-Swachh Vidyalaya campaign: to inculcate the spirit of hygiene, cleanliness and aversion to unhygienic conditions in our children from the initial years of schooling itself. Trending today on all platforms — from civil initiatives, corporations to government programmes, the theme holds much relevance for each individual, especially so for our children, as we all strive together to make our incredible country India even more clean, green, flourishing and attractive. 

Cleanliness is next to godliness, said Gandhiji. Our Green Buddies Film Festival on the theme of Swachh Bharat, and aligned with the Swachh Bharat-Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign is a step in that direction.
