The Green Buddies Film Festival will lay the foundation for children and youth, who will shape the future of India. The theme, “Swachh Bharat,” and the specific Swachh Bharat – Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign, an important concepts towards creating a healthy and clean environment, enjoy high – visibility today. “Swachh Bharat” is a holistic concept linked not just to cleanliness of our surroundings but one which impacts the overall health and development of our nation. The corollary Swachh Bharat – Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign specifically seeks to “inculcate the spirit of hygiene, cleanliness and aversion to unhygienic conditions in our children” from the primary school years, itself. Our choice of the theme and its corollary programme is, thus, a conscious attempt to create momentum via our film festival and innovative activities. It will catalyse efforts towards “creating a new generation of conservation” and a progressive and vibrant nation. Towards this CEC effort, your participation and support would benefit and elevate the festival immensely. Our enjoined interests and capacities will help achieve the following:
