This is a seminal assignment for by UNICEF on developing a high quality ready to use technical design manual of group handwashing facilities, which can be used and applied across all states. The work encompasses collating the group handwashing technical designs and developing the high-end design manual.

The UNICEF endeavour on installing group handwashing activities in several schools in India is being supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and is now being scaled up by the Ministry through the Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya campaign. At the scaling up phase, there is a requirement of a well-designed and structured tool kit, especially that of a technical design manual, which can be used across states.
